Cross tagging retals was definitely not what Vic was referring to. MKR was indiscriminately gang banged by at least four different tags, thus making it Alliance 2.0 on the teams server as Celphi was referring to.

While I’m in the opinion that those events will make us better as players, it doesn’t necessarily make the server enjoyable.

15 years ago when I last played, I remember the alliance I was playing with breaking up into smaller teams and warring against each other as well as other outside teams.

Those days were enjoyable.

Personally, I like the teams server, even when I used to play without a team, but maybe I need a few more sets before i determine how I really feel about it possibly being phased out.

I just tried it after reading this post to see if my spies were still special. They stole money this time. So maybe last set they were special.

Everytime I raid banks, my spies blow up the money instead of stealing it.

I'd like to suggest a socialist government as well, but I have no idea what the characteristics of said country would entail. Maybe higher population growth, balanced income, but higher military costs?

And I had the express/tourney server in mind as I thought about it.


I would like to propose (and possibly expand upon) the idea of a 1-hour server.


The idea would be that all players would be live and active during (most of) the 1-hour event, which would create new challenges in controlling the market, who/when to attack, how to grow/build your country, strategies, etc.

Hopefully, this would also address the concerns of farming since it'll be an opportunity for you to learn on the fly if you're constantly being attacked. Players would then learn how to build decent defenses and be able to wall opposing attacks.

I would also like to propose that bots be a part of the server, but the bots should be able to attack, wall, and defend itself to prevent players from cheesing their way to the top 10.

What do you think?

I would like to lobby for a pacifist government where the people get pissed off if your army is too big or and leave when you attack someone, but their strengths should be based around maximizing their income

I’d honestly have to give you all my country numbers, but I didn’t want to waste your time with that. Just thought there was a mechanic I wasn’t aware of. With that specific country I gave you, I landgrabbed and lost 13000 civilians, but they started coming back slowly when I put buildings on the acquired.

But the next time it happens, I’ll stop and message. I do really appreciate you taking the time out looking into it.

And yes, I was hoping to get a deeper understanding, but as you said, that was as basic as it gets, so I'll have to accept that for an answer, but your responses has given me a little more insight as to what's going on with you.

Not sure why you mentioned not having to prove something to me. As I said in my previous statement, it's highly unlikely that I will ever meet anyone on this forum in real life, so having to prove anything to anyone is futile, and I expect the same stance from others. With that context in perspective, what you do in your daily life is none of my business, and neither is your family, mental health or personal contributions to society. Contextually, when I said this can't be mentally healthy, I was looking at it from my perspective because it is impossible for me to look at things from your perspective, which is why I asked questions. That's also why I said in my opinion, it seems too time consuming.

Your response also leads me to believe that you think I have ulterior motives. Not everyone is trying to attack you. Finally, I reiterate my point; I think you're an entertaining person, as do others on this forum probably, but you gotta find some chill.

1. I'm simply trying to understand your mindset. The best way to do that is observe and ask questions. I've observed a lot, hence the questions.

2. If your sole purpose is to prove someone wrong/out their wrongdoings, then I feel you may be doing what you're doing for the wrong reasons. Just feels too time consuming in my opinion to solidify my status, morals, or intellect to someone on the internet whom I'll never meet and is therefore irrelevant. Maybe you feel different, hence point 1.

On what's going on in the FFA server in regarding to population.

TroyTiger started a thread saying that is pop was declining for no reason. I started experiencing the same issue after I landgrabbed and built land. It would go up then drop dramatically without any explanation.

Now...

I landgrabbed, succeeded, and I started losing population by about 2k every turn. I wasn't attacked, I didn't drop land, demo buildings, no earthquakes, spy ops, etc. When I put buildings on the land I acquired, my civilians came back.

So seriously, is this a bug, a hidden pacifist mechanic, or is something happening that I'm not aware of?

Does that mean my civilians prefer that I be a pacifist?

My population has been decreasing randomly as well and I'm not sure why. I'm not demo'ing anything, not being attacked, no harmful spy ops, no earthquakes or any bad luck things happening. I'll LG someone and my population will grow, then when I put buildings on the land i just acquired, they run away. Never seen this happen before.

I'm already in primary and don't mind getting a late start there as I'm only practicing netting and building defense. Tourney I do mind getting a late start because I want to get back to game A. But tourney is not as attack heavy as it used to be 15 years ago
