You also have loads of spies, I think decreasing the amount of spy's that your industrial complexes are generating and putting that into something like jet or turret would also do you well. The extra jet/turret will help defend, attack, and generate money when you sell the jets and turrets to other people.

Edit: I take it back. I would recommend using your turns to build-up the 1000 of empty acres. They are making you a target and you are getting nothing from them. Construct more industrial complexes and fill them up !

As well, instead of exploring, you might want to build more construction sites. Your BPT "build per turn* is quite low at 35. Aim for something like 60-70. While your building up your construction sites, your also NOT gaining land, which should make you have less land than those other people around you. Once you ready to go with more CS, explore or attack away!

Instead of spending turns researching, I think the most bang for your turns would be to either

1) explore for land
2) Spy people weaker than you and attack them for their land.

The wiki should have some good instructions on how to attack and see if you will win or not. If you don't feel comfortable attacking yet, then exploring would be a good option. You would then be able to put more production into turrets and help fend off other people from attacking you!. Then, when you feel more comfortable, you can switch to some jets and see what you can do.

Just my thoughts.

OK I clearly don't get how this works, but I hope you get the point !!

Instead, they responded with 42 hits within the retal window, netting 9180 acres. By their own policies, they grossly overretalled. As the situation was already strained from their systematic farming and our NM response, we did not retal these overretals.

After the retal window expired, #36 helped himself to 2338 more acres in 7 grabs. (Two other LaF countries also made an additional 5 hits and gained 1633 acres) "

so that's 9180+2338+1633 or 13,151a in 'retal' for 4247a, and apparently LaF feels this is ok.
in what universe is that L:L laf?
in terms of numerical retals. 42+7+5, or 54 hits in response for 3 hits?
yet PDM are the bad guys. hilarious.
funny counting of how it takes "4 hits to get land back" isn't it haxor?
but LaF will just keep farming won't they?

well.. the numerical #s are a bit misleading because 20 of the 22 hits from #118 were for 91 acres, so ya.. its 22hits but at 91 acres is not very much land. I also think your counting wrong. It would be (20*91)+(2*135) = 2090 acres, which means that 594 came out ahead by almost 1,000 acres because of the ghost. Seems like a win to me!

Im not convinced that a tech start will fly. I mean, it comes down the math, but doing a tech start stunts growth eh? you gotta spend a ton of turns teching 1000/turn, OR you can just do your normal start and buy all the tech. That makes even more sense if you think tech is gonna be cheap... why tech when you can buy it if you think it would be cheap?

Thank you & Appologies:

Yes -- building gain 33% increased compared to other governments.

If I was to grab someone with a monarchy, and then pretend everything went back, and grab the same person as a dictator, the dictator would come out 33% more acres added to their total land?

DBD and DBD2 seems to be grabbing with no random killing. I don't see any issue at all with the team server dynamics, and im honestly not sure why people say the server sucks. i think its more fun than alliance because there is absolutely zero pacts

Actually.. DBD is a 3 man tag this set, and DBD2 is only a 4 man tag, and both tags seem to be doing well. DBD got hit a few times, but then got someone who could retal and that was the end of it.

Its the same concept the issue on the alliance server with Elysium. If you think of EEVIL they have 12 members but no one hits them because they can make a retal. Elysium had *not-1-member* who could make a retal, and they got farmed. Same on team. I bet DBD, OG, Wrath, Veng, KNALF, or anyone else could totally change the tag to something new, and do just as good as when the "establed" tag was being used.

Hell, I actually think DBD2 had 1 person for one reset. That 1 person was able to place top 15.

thats how any country got 25M in express. CCCP, Enshula, Soyuz Soviet. Any country that had like 500acres and 20M+ NW

I would not however call it a bug, I used it in express, I would consider it using the formula's to the players advantage. It was the turns gained at login = 450 that blew up the market. It does however start to shrink with each turn that is gained after the initial login. It was able to login, buy up 2B, and get a few resells done before it ran out of stuff. I know from experience

:-)

destocking is the opposite of stocking.

On some of the servers like alliance or team, it makes sense to stockpile value in things like pure cash (2B) and bushels. Thats whats happening if you see people going from 7M NW to 40M NW. They are selling their stockpile, getting cash, and spending that cash on goods to gain NW.

BPT:

Technically the optimal is calculated as =SQRT((land goal/4)) which is usually somewhere between 70 and 80. After 100 turns I like to have 20BPT and I grow it by feel after that. Don't forget that you can keep small land and avoid being the easy target, and setup for success, by building construction sites early on. On the flip-side, building to many to early means all your cash goes into building 1 turn of stuff !

What happened? 21.5mm the set before and then 17mm takes the top spot last set. You can't tell me that cashing was that bad last set considering a casher prolly won the last 4 in a row.
