Being an untagged in this server is guaranteeing you will meet a lot of people... but they are there to rape your land away.

If you join a tag you get the protection offered as well as experienced instruction. I suggest you join a tag... the set is young.. only about a week and a half into a 8 week set.

Greetings! I'm not going to give you a winded post on how my alliance is better than another alliance. SoL wars, occasionally nets and is trying to make the server more fun.

If you want to give us a try, we'll welcome you with open arms. If you go somewhere else, we hope you have fun, wherever that is.

No matter where you land, make sure they help you get back into the game. Get to the basics and don't worry about being the best right out of the gate. It will come in time and with learning.

I've warned my members to not come OOP with too few acres or too little military. Accidents happen. If anything it will help people remember to watch turns taken a little closer... I think SoL has lost 1, LaF 2, EVO 5, RIVAL 2, and RAGE 3. This only counts those who remembered to tag up... but still. I have a feeling that those who were killed will be a bit more careful next time... I would be.

Not saying it should or should not be done... just watching and observing...

three GRAND? Holy shoot... I've spent NOTHING. I enjoy playing it from time to time when I'm waiting for something or 10 minutes when I first wake up. But good, the more they spend on the game the better my experience gets from more current updates. ;)

Road rage from a smart car... wow.

Had a similar incident years ago. Dude was doing ~ 120 in the right lane passing people as I was trying to merge onto a highway... he was going so fast I never saw him. I tried to speed up to get out of his way, but he was in full prick mode. Passed me eventually then cut me off and nearly ran me off the road. Got the tags and reported to state police. They said there is no way of proving it was the owner driving, so they cannot do anything about it.

Moral of the story: Bring fluff to throw back... I mean, it was a smart car ffs... a loaf of french bread would probably total the POS.

War is never fair... nor will it ever be considered so by some.

There will always be a reason for someone to cry foul. Inactivity, people joining tag mid war, countries being FAed while untagged... the list goes on forever.

That being said, it was a close war when it started. The average NW for each side was nearly identical a week later... great push by SoF. As of now, it is becoming clear who will triumph... a hard fought battle on both sides.

It is time to move on. No more revenge wars. No more 'you hit us 2 sets ago and it was unfair... in revenge for this, war we declare!' I'm willing to call it even over everything that has occurred over the last 15 months I have been back at SoL. I hope the more seasoned and experienced leaders can do the same. Find me on irc or skype if you want to chat.

This is overall one of the more even wars considering recent history. SoF did a great job of bringing it back to damn near even NW. Props for that.

I do hope leadership on both sides can move on and work to develop an environment that is more conducive to fun and less of a revenge-fest for what happened in the past.

I say again... both sides... forgive, but don't forget.... but still move on.

I've had bottles of water in liquid phase in my car while the temps are below freezing. I shake the bottle and I watch it quickly freeze into a solid slush.
