Drow - I'm trying not to beat a dead horse here, but since you keep asking, I'll clarify for you.


My claim on these forums was that M4D has non-reformed cheaters in their alliance, and leaders who cover for those cheaters. Those claims are well-founded and substantiated.


I do not know if they are cheating this round. I don't have access to any of the information that would allow me to know that. My name in game is in response to them attacking me unprovoked initially this set, and then a further kill run on me after I defended myself when I was attacked 600 times, and they claimed my 1 retaliation was 'unprovoked', hence the laughing thread I made.


The country name 'mad cause they cheat' doesn't refer to active cheating, or past tense cheating. It's like if someone said 'youre made cause you cook food'. They aren't saying I'm ACTIVELY cooking food. They are saying that at some point in time I've cooked food, and that's why I'm mad.


Same idea here.


More than that though, the country name reason exists mostly to ruffle feathers. It's a sore spot for M4D to be called cheaters. And I didn't like that they attacked me multiple times this round. So I hit back, rhetorically.




Again though - trying to let that horse die. Empy and I have had some great conversations and he's shared a lot of wisdom with me. So I let him know I'd lay off the cheating talk. I think I made my point clear about Leto and his actions, no need to continue to make those points anymore.

Drow - I'm not making any claims at all currently. I'm just seeking to understand the clinical justification that TC is going to provide us for me being detached from reality. I've got my DSM 5 handy, as soon as TC wants to reference a page for me. Really looking to learn from him.

You know TC - I've never tussled with you before, as you were always on 'my side' with regards to the Laf vs Mercs stuff.


But I gotta say, you're a real... special person.

I think the most succinct way I would describe you is you are the smartest dum-dum in the classroom. But sometimes you're allowed into the AP classroom, with actual smart kids. If you want to attack solo targets, go for it. I think you are well within your right to do so. And if you want to attack fat targets, go for it. I think people should have defense.



The only point I'm trying to make is that, unless I'm mistaken, a brand new player is going to start the game.... solo. Right?


And if they do, and M4D's stance is that all solo players are suiciders and hostile, then it seems to me that it's very likely that a brand new players first experience with this game will be being killed.


And that is totally fine, I suppose. The only question I'm asking, and it is just a question, is whether or not that is good for the retention of new players?



TC - I'll respond to you as well. I don't think all of the admins and community have 'determined' that it is good for the game. In fact, I believe it has been floated that all new players could be thrown into a 'newbie' tag if you will. And I think for this very reason that I'm illuminating. To give them the opportunity to learn the game without being trashed.




If you really want to know what I think is good for the game, I'd point to Coalie. When I was brand new here and had a very small tag, do you know what Coalie did? He joined me. He helped me teach other new players, he empowered me to be a leader, he provided tools to me, he taught me some of the nuances of the game. The end result was that I had a tag that competed against his tags, actually, for many many months, until I ultimately chose to step away from alliance leadership.



That seems to be the opposite of what M4D is doing, which is 'join us or die'.



TC, maybe you're right though. Maybe that M4D approach is the better approach. I could be an idiot.

Where is this rule written? Also, how is that good for the game? I've been told that M4D's intention is to grow the game. So would you mind explaining to me how targeting all solo players (presumably, new players are going to start as solo) and treating them as hostile suiciders helps the game grow?

I think they really did want you in their clan. It's just a situation where the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. You're the third solo player that has had run in's with M4D on this server so far.

This is how M4D runs things.


They don't understand what provoked vs unprovoked means. They have members running off doing whatever is on their mind at any point in the day. Leadership has no control over the masses. It's a mess.



At this point, their retal policy should scare the fvck out of everyone. They've already publicly claimed they are going to hit people and will accept retals. Yet look what they say when I retaled with ONE SINGLE ATTACK to their hundreds of attacks on me.

Look, we all know that you ousted Doug from his alliance. We also know it wasn't voluntary, and that there are two sides to this story.

So why would you comment that Doug is not a leader in PDM, when that isn't relevant to Doug having the info we are discussing??

Two days ago Leto came to me and wanted to be friends. I asked him some questions and we were having a conversation. He excused himself mid conversation, with nothing resolved.

Yesterday he did another kill run on me. Which is TOTALLY fine. No problem with that at all.


Out of curiosity though, I asked him and Empy why they did a KR, especially given the facts that they were attempting to make friends with me the day before. And they told me what is in the screenshots.

They said that I unprovoked attacked them with the 1 Chem attack.


But the previous 3 days they hit me over 600 times.... LOL. That's why this is funny. Can you not see the humor in that absurd logic?

No one that I've suicided is attacking me either. Any suiciding I've done in the past has been dealt with, and all sides have made peace with each other.

I asked Leto specifically why they just killed me, because the day before he was trying to make peace with me. He didn't respond 'read SJ's posts' he responded because I unprovoked chem attacked them.
