I'm asking this because it doesn't seem clear to me still. When switching from Fascism to another government, assuming the lowest switch cost of 14%, do you lose 14% of your bonus points, or 14% + 15% effectiveness?

i.e. if you building bonus is 100% as a fascist and you switch to another government, is your building bonus now

1) 100% * 0.86
or
2) 100% * 0.86 * 0.85

I originally thought it was 2) but Slagpit's original post made it seem like it was 1). However we just had a guy switch who lost a lot more than he should've so I'm thinking it's 2) again.

oh and I'd prefer if a mod or somebody who has tested this out answer this, rather than somebody who just read slagpit's post, because i've read it as well.

I'm pretty sure when I did it last set it was (2) and that's how I had it calced

Fascists gain a temporary +15% bonus to bonuses. When you change to another government the temporary bonus is lost as well as the 14% conversion loss.
