The butcher hit that guy once, and the guy bounced 3 retals. The butcher took no further action. Now heavy into the stocking phase the guy must be 100% jet and breaks him two times. Just very lame. 5 attacks over a single grab.

I think Butcher still makes the list but it depends where this goes from here.

Thats an easy 5K acre gain I won't get to keep though. Oh well, I was a late start anyways.

24 hours between each PS and Butcher was at 23m nw for the first hit then 37m nw for the second. Very cruel.

I hadn't realise Butcher had been hit. I thought he'd jumped in nw because he may have seen me jump in nw to hit MARINABAY.

I don't think MARINABAY will make more than 80m from what I saw.

he's lucky i sold most of my mil strat before he hit me otherwise i'd have had about 120% instead of the 105% i had.

i've ruined my finish now. would have made top 15 before he grabbed, now i doubt i'll make top 20.

ok since everyone is so interested in what's going on between captain cook and the butcher i'll just let everyone know that i'm captain cook. my profile is public so everyone would have found out eos anyway.

so on the tourney server the butcher double tap topfed me then sent me a message that went something like this (i wish i saved the message):

"decision time. if you choose to retal me i will spend the rest of the set attacking you, but if you don't retal i won't attack you again.

i know it sucks but that's what makes this game interesting."

the message was longer than that but that's the general gist of it.

and yes, i did a regular + market spy on him. he had absolutely no chance of winning

Captain cook wants to buy beef from the butcher. Butcher's asking price was too high. Captain cook then decides to pwn the butcher so he can get the beef at a cheaper price.

Only a few make it 100m nw each round. For several rounds before last round, 75m was top 5.

The food market crashed much earlier than expected. Probably caused by the techers dumping their bushels to make their jump. That's the only positive thing for cashers this set.

But at this point in the game there's very little point in retals except vindictiveness, unless you're going for a land record of course. It's the biggest land country I can see, by far, just scrolling back through past rounds.
