A chemical missile from XXXXXXXXX (#XXXX) was launched at your lands, destroying:
5 Civilians
141 Buildings

Population 104,599

Not sure how this is possible, unless it was a glitch when he hit me about 10 seconds before he died. I verified the hit on EE stats and in Boxcar/Legendsatearth.com as well.

Chem population destruction is limited by the attacker's population, so if the attacker had low population (you said he was being killed?) then he'd get a corresponding low return on the CM.

Why would a chemical missile be less effective if your population is lower? Is it loaded with the corpses of your unruly civilians and if you don't have enough then the warhead isn't full and is less destructive?

some things are for balance and not for making sense :)

like, how could a country with 100k people have 5M troops?

I have long wondered that! Maybe these troops are robotic? I guess they eat food so maybe they are some sort of cyborg? Or maybe hamburgers are the savior renewable energy source of the future that all electronics are powered with!

maybe we should make troops require beer, and you'd have to build distilleries to convert bushels into beer....

correction, a country can have 100k CIVILIANS and 5M TROOPS. troops, in any society, aren't considered civilians. so that state of affairs makes good sense to me.. just a very militant country :P

the question i'd ask in that situation is how can 100k Civ's tax $$ actually pay 5mil Troops? guess the answer is export, which is what most strats do. them 100k civs are good at export =)

Thanks for the explanation. I agree it doesn't make much sense, but at least I know it's not a bug so I'm not overly worried about it. Those 5 civilians died valiantly for the cause.

That's one hell of a recruiting rate! The US Armed Forces would probably love to have a chat with the developers to get some tips.

your drunk troops killed 13593 of your own civilians.

your drunk spies caused 234567 troops of your army to leave.

Widespread binge drinking by your civilians has led to mass vomiting, which has poisoned your water supply. You have lost 20,932 civilians.

The collective gasps of your citizens waking up to coyote ugly next to them in bed has led to global warming. Bushel production has decreased by 25%
